$21.5 million medical office building opens in Pemberton

The Browns Mills Medical Office building on the campus of Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton Township has officially opened, the center announced Thursday.

The new 60,000-square-foot, three-story, $21.5 million medical building is owned and operated by Landmark Healthcare Facilities LLC.

The first floor includes Central Jersey Urgent Care; Garden State Diagnostic Imaging; Georgies Outpatient Pharmacy; and Deborah’s Sleep Medicine Center.

The second floor has Wellness Suite 360—a family medicine practice; Deborah Physical, Occupational and Balance Therapy; Deborah Pulmonary Rehab and Cardiac Rehab; and flex-time professional medical office spaces.

The third floor, in the future, will host an Ambulatory Surgical Center.

“We are excited that the building is finally open,” said Landmark Executive Chairman Joe Checota. “We spent considerable time in analyzing the market prior to starting construction, and we are certain that the variety of medical services in this building will be of great benefit to the community. There is a lack of primary care physicians in town, no urgent care center, and residents have to drive quite some distance for an x-ray. We at Landmark are thrilled to be part of bringing vital new medical services to this community.”

“This new medical office building is an excellent addition to our campus. The services provided are clearly needed in the community. For Deborah, the enhanced space for our rehab services, including Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, is tremendous. As well, we are excited to bring Physical and Occupational Therapy to town,” said Joseph Chirichella, CEO and president of Deborah.
