AtlantiCare, Continuum continue services agreement

The AtlantiCare health care organization and Continuum Health have extended their partnership under which Continuum provides revenue cycle services to AtlantiCare Physician Group, the two said Thursday.

The partnership covers more than 96 primary and specialty care locations, assisting with financial processes, according to a news release.

“Since 2011, we have worked with Continuum to streamline our financial processes,” Jatin Motiwal, vice president, AtlantiCare Physician Group & Regional Network, said in a prepared statement. “The enhancements we have and will continue to make contribute to our overall efficiency, and — most importantly — a better experience for our patients.”

AtlantiCare, a member of the Pennsylvania-based Geisinger system, utilizes Continuum for services including insurance registration and verification, accounts receivable follow-up, claims management and more.

“We are honored and energized by AtlantiCare’s decision to extend our contract,” Continuum CEO Peter Bailey said in a statement. “We could not ask for a better partner. We look forward to the opportunity to help AtlantiCare Physician Group continue to expand its services as it enhances access to care in an increasingly challenging health care environment.”
