Louis Berger, the Morristown-based professional services company, has acquired the minority shares in its partner company BergerABAM, it announced Thursday.
BergerABAM is a consulting firm offering services in specialized engineering in the ports/waterfront and marine, surface transportation and federal facilities sectors.
“Bringing BergerABAM fully into the Louis Berger family demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest technical expertise to support our clients’ most demanding projects,” Louis Berger CEO and President Jim Stamatis said in a prepared statement. “BergerABAM will strengthen and expand our expertise in ports, waterfront and marine structures, buildings, site development, highways and bridges, and aviation.
“This acquisition is the culmination of a collaborative partnership that has spanned more than three decades and delivered award-winning designs, construction and results for our clients.”
