TRAC Intermodal, a Princeton-based provider of marine equipment and more, is adding 16,000 premium chassis in 2018, continuing its investment in its fleet, it announced recently.
TRAC said in a news release that the major fleet modernization program will provide the industry with easy access to top-quality equipment.
“We’re on track to meet the ambitious plans we set for ourselves to modernize our marine chassis fleet and provide our customers with the most reliable equipment available in the industry,” CEO and President Keith Lovetro said in a prepared statement.
The company said it is adding 8,000 new and 8,000 fully refurbished chassis, including features like LED lights, new brakes and wiring.
TRAC said it began the fleet modernization program in 2015, upgrading more than 40 percent of its Metro pool, 25 percent of its Gulf Regional pool and 15 percent of its Marine East pool since then.
