C&W arranges two retail leases in Nutley

Two businesses have signed retail leases at a Nutley property, according to real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.

Good Vibes, a hot vinyasa yoga studio and Kombucha bar, and Mathnasium, a math learning center, signed at the 231-237 Franklin Ave. property, C&W’s David Townes said.

Townes, an East Rutherford-based retail broker, represented the landlord, a private owner, in both leases.

“Boutique fitness — including yoga — is thriving,” he said in a prepared statement. “Health-conscious Americans are looking for local, highly focused concepts that cater to their specific activity interests. This tenant will surely be a welcome addition for area residents.”

Good Vibes signed for 2,200 square feet, while Mathnasium signed for 1,200 square feet. Both businesses are expected to open this summer.

“Downtown retail remains in high demand in our region,” Townes said. “Nutley, in particular, offers strong demographics — the kind that draw national franchises like Mathnasium.”
