Walter J. Brasch, treasurer of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, has joined Prager Metis CPAs as its first chief success officer, the accounting and advisory firm announced Thursday.
Prager Metis said Brasch will work with its office and regional managing partners as well as individual practices and industry leaders to improve the growth potential of their business plans.
Brasch has more than 30 years of executive experience in the accounting and business advisory industry.
“Bringing Walter on board was a natural step in our growth as a firm,” said Glenn Friedman, co-managing partner. “His industry experience is a great asset to Prager Metis, and we look forward to working closely with him to strengthen our firm’s vision for the future.”
In addition to his board role, Brasch is currently on the executive committee of the state chamber. He is also on the AICPA Council and was previously president of the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
