The stores will be located in Hoboken and Montclair. The two stores are JoJo’s first in the country, Cushman & Wakefield said. JoJo committed to 900 square feet at 407 Washington St. in Hoboken and 1,850 square feet at 6 South Park St. in Montclair.
David Townes, a retail leasing specialist based at Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford office, represented JoJo in the deals. Jerry Gustoso of Engel & Völkers and Neal Richards with Vanguard Realty served as respective landlord representatives in the leases.
Cushman & Wakefield said JoJo’s Hoboken location opened in June and the Montclair spot opened in July. The 25-year-old brand currently has 90 stores in the U.K. and Ireland.
“JoJo Maman Bébé caters to mid-market demographics, and its first two New Jersey locations reflect the vibrant downtowns we are targeting,” Townes said. “These markets serve a population of young, growing families, which makes them great fits.”
