One William in Englewood taps into N.J.’s luxury rental demand

A high demand for luxury rentals is prominent in New Jersey, according to BNE Real Estate Group and Sterling Properties.

The pair just recently developed and opened One William in Englewood, where just over 40 percent of its 185 residences have already been leased.

The property opened six weeks ago with occupancy immediately available, according to The Marketing Directors, its marketing and leasing agent. One William consists of one- and two-bedroom residences with rents starting at $2,350.

“We were confident there was a market here for new, stylish residences in a location that’s just steps from dining, shopping, cultural and recreational offerings, as well as convenient access to New York City,” said Jonathan Schwartz, a partner at BNE Real Estate Group. “The public’s response to One William and its spirited leasing activity is bearing that out.”

The five-story property is located at 1 William St. and offers its residents indoor and outdoor amenities including a rooftop pool, fire pits, barbecue stations, a bar, a lawn area and landscaped courtyard, indoor gaming spaces, a fitness center, work stations and conference rooms, a club room, and more. It also offers concierge and onsite maintenance services, package acceptance, bicycle storage, and onsite parking.

“One William is an exciting new residential option that complements all that this vibrant downtown setting has to offer,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of The Marketing Directors.  “It’s an energy-infused lifestyle experience that is quickly appealing to a wide range of residents.”

The building is within close access to Routes 4, 80 and 9W, the New Jersey Turnpike, the Palisades Parkway, and the George Washington Bridge.
