Johnson & Johnson Consumer to acquire Zarbee’s, a natural health care products company

Skillman-based Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. announced Monday it has agreed to acquire Zarbee’s Inc., a natural health care products company.

The acquisition, Johnson & Johnson said, will include Zarbee’s full line of Naturals products.

Zarbee’s Naturals was founded in 2008. Its first product was a honey-based kids’ cough syrup made with vitamin C and zinc, and free of alcohol, drugs and artificial flavors.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
