Hylan, a Holmdel-based provider of communications for engineering and construction services, announced Monday it has appointed Joe Cecin the new chief operating officer of The Hylan Group.
Cecin, who has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of all companies under the Hylan brand, including Hylan Datacom & Electrical, Down Under Construction, Western Utility, Arcturus Telecom, and Hylan West. Cecin will also be responsible for integrating new acquired businesses.
Prior to Hylan, Cecin was executive vice president of operations at Unitek Global Services, president of Pinnacle Wireless and chief operating officer of RCN Corp. He was also group head of the Telecom Investment Banking Practice at BB&T Capital Markets.
