Denholtz welcomes Jersey Mike’s Subs to Clark Commercial Center with ribbon cutting

Denholtz Associates, a real estate company, announced Jersey Mike’s Subs has taken up retail space at the Clark Commercial Center in Clark.

Steven Denholtz, CEO of Denholtz Associates, and Kristine B. Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing, were joined by John Laezza, Clark business administrator; Frank Jablonski, operating partner; and Richie Maclachlan, operations director; to cut the ribbon on Jersey Mike’s new 1,397-square-foot space on its opening day.

“For nearly three years we’ve been implementing our strategy to create a highly desirable property, attracting a variety of established tenants to the flex, office and brand-new retail center to ensure that it would be an asset to the surrounding community,” Hurlbut said.

“We’ve been waiting for this day since we acquired the center in 2015 and are so proud of how the retail space came out. The location provides our tenants with the perfect mix of accessibility and daily volume giving them a competitive advantage in today’s retail marketplace while providing residents with convenient access to the great products and services our tenants provide.”

Jersey Mike’s new spot is part of Denholtz Associates’ new 13,142-square-foot retail center at 301 Central Ave. Comprised of 10 commercial buildings, the center totals 283,201 square feet. It is located just off Exit 135 of the Garden State Parkway and is within close access to the New Jersey Turnpike.

The Clark Commercial Center was acquired by Denholtz Associates and its joint venture partner, MB1 Capital Partners, in 2015. Jersey Mike’s is the first tenant to officially open at the center. Additional tenants include Waxing the City, CKO Kickboxing and Trinty Rehab, which are all slated to open by the end of the summer.

Jersey Mike’s currently has 1,500 restaurants open and under development throughout the U.S.
