Florham Park-based Conduent Inc., a digital platform creator, has sold its Local and Municipal Constituent Government Software Solutions business, it announced Monday.
The business unit, which sold to Avenu Insights & Analytics, generated approximately $113 million in revenue for Conduent’s last fiscal year ending on Dec. 31, 2017, it said.
“We are streamlining our portfolio to focus on businesses that are core to the future of Conduent,” said Dave Amoriell, president, Conduent. “The sale of our CGSS business will allow us to focus on and advance our technology platforms that will best serve our large enterprise public sector customers and scalable business relationships.”
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018. Until then, the business unit will continue to operate as part of Conduent Public Sector.
