Cushman & Wakefield named agent for industrial property in Meadowlands

Cushman & Wakefield announced Monday it has been named the leasing agent for an industrial spot in North Bergen.

The firm’s East Rutherford office will lead the assignment at 7300 West Wide Ave. — also known as Bergen Logistics Building — on behalf of property owner Bergen Logistics.

“This facility is efficient, utilitarian, and very well suited for an apparel or other consumer product or other distribution organization. It has a complete garment racking system fully equipped for GOH (garment on hangers), which can be removed at a tenant’s request, and also features pallet racking,” Bonnie Heller, director at Cushman & Wakefield, said.

The Bergen Logistics Building sits on 3.5 acres and offers easy access to most highways including the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 3.

The facility is comprised of 130,000 square feet, 25-foot ceilings, 19 dock-high doors, trailer parking and space for 120 cars. It also has 21,000 square feet of office space, a 30,000-square-foot mezzanine and 9,000 square feet of storage.

“This opportunity arose because Bergen Logistics, a full-service logistics and order fulfillment company, decided to consolidate operations at its 404,000-square-foot, fully automated distribution center at 299 Thomas E. Dunn Memorial Highway in Rutherford,” Heller said. “Earlier this year, Cushman & Wakefield negotiated a long-term lease on behalf of the company for the Rutherford property, which represented one of the largest industrial deals in years in the Meadowlands.”
