Madison-based Realogy Holdings Corp., a residential real estate services company, announced Wednesday it is hosting the sixth annual Realogy FWD Innovation Summit, a competition for technology startups, on Nov. 14 in Madison.
Realogy said tech startups and early-stage companies are encouraged to apply by Oct. 1 for the opportunity to compete in the one-day competition for a $25,000 cash prize.
Ten participants out of the entire pool of applicants will be chosen on Oct. 8. These finalists will present live demos to people associated with Realogy.
The winner of the competition, Realogy said, will create the most innovative technology product or service that can be used by the real estate industry.
“Realogy has a strong commitment to provide innovative technology that helps affiliated independent sales agents be more efficient and productive. The Realogy FWD Innovation Summit offers our company leaders the opportunity to experience cutting-edge technology solutions that support the real estate industry and gives entrepreneurs exposure for their new technology products,” said Dave Gordon, chief technology officer, Realogy.
