Levin arranges 16K sq. ft. lease with Filipino grocer in Clifton

Filipino grocer FilStop has leased 16,000 square feet at the Clifton Plaza in Clifton, Levin Management Corp. announced Monday.

This is FilStop’s second flagship location in New Jersey. It’s first one is located in Jersey City.

Levin Management is the leasing and managing agent for the 95,000-square-foot shopping center, it said. Vanessa Fernandez, an LCM leasing represented, arranged the lease. Anthony Rivera and Eugene Rivera of Pure Properties represented FilStop.

“The addition of FilStop is significant both for Clifton Plaza and the community at large,” Fernandez said. “This grocer has experienced exponential growth in recent years and serves a niche customer base all along the East Coast. FilStop will drive additional consumer traffic to benefit its co-tenants at Clifton Plaza while providing a larger and centrally located store for the brand’s loyal shoppers.”

Clifton Plaza, located on Route 36/Van Houten Avenue, is anchored by a Big Lots and Blink Fitness.
