Howell shopping center sells for nearly $6.5M

A retail center in Howell has sold for nearly $6.5 million, according to real estate firm Gebroe-Hammer Associates.

The firm said in a news release that Aldrich III LLC bought the Aldrich 9 Plaza from Aldrich Nine Associates LLC for $6.422 million. The 28,660-square-foot neighborhood shopping center is anchored by Walgreens and stands adjacent to Aldrich Plaza Shopping Center along Route 9 North.

Gebroe-Hammer’s Ken Uranowitz, president, and Adam Zweibel, vice president, arranged the transaction, representing the seller and procuring the buyer.

“Conveniently located at one of the busiest intersections in the Howell trade area, Aldrich 9 Plaza was fully occupied at the time of sale, with a nicely balanced tenant roster,” Zweibel said in a prepared statement.

The property, built in 1988, is home to Walgreens, plus the Howell Medical Pavilion/RWJBarnabas Health and Big City Bagels.
