Tris Pharma Inc., a pharmaceutical company in Monmouth Junction, announced Jeffery Palmer has been named its vice president and head of quality and compliance.
Plamer has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career at Alpharma as a validation engineer and then worked at Schering-Plough/Merck as associate director. Prior to Tris, he was at Lupin Pharmaceuticals as its quality head for its Somerset site.
“Jeffrey’s background, especially his experience in Quality Systems with his early focus on validation/process improvement makes him an ideal candidate as the Head of Quality & Compliance for Tris” said Ketan Mehta, CEO and president of Tris. “His successful track record in developing sustainable quality management systems, creating a company-wide quality culture and developing right-first-time teams that bring high-quality products to market is what Tris needs today.”
