Saint Peter’s Physician Associates has expanded its network with a new location in Piscataway.
The new facility, with primary care and specialty physicians, will serve adults, helping them manage all aspects of health care, including disease prevention, screening, wellness and diagnoses of common illnesses.
“We are proud to now offer primary and specialty care services to the residents of Piscataway and neighboring communities in our new facility,” Les Hirsch, interim CEO and president of Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, said.
“This new location expands Saint Peter’s outpatient services and demonstrates the commitment to our mission of providing access to a high level of quality and compassionate care for the residents of central New Jersey.”
The physicians at the new location are members of the Saint Peter’s University Hospital medical staff, and are specialists in internal medicine, primary care, breast surgery, breast health, endocrinology and diabetes care.
Dr. Susan McManus, who serves as president of Saint Peter’s Physician Associates, said the expansion will lead to better care.
“The goal of Saint Peter’s Physician Associates is to offer residents of the communities we serve primary care with access to specialists in an outpatient setting, without having to travel to the hospital or a separate location,” she said.
“However, should our patients need specialized diagnostic testing or have a serious illness or injury that requires them to see other specialists or even a hospital stay, our physicians will work with them to make the appropriate referrals.”
