Three new tenants have signed leases for medical office space at a new mixed-use building in Franklin Lakes, according to real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield.
Metro Eye Care, an ophthalmology and optometry care business, will open its second Bergen County location at the 794 Franklin Ave. property. It will be joined by Ramsey Sport and Spine, a physical therapy and chiropractic business, also opening its second regional location; and Bergen Oral Surgery, which is relocating one of its offices to the site.
Jeffrey A. Prezant, senior director of C&W’s Healthcare Practice Group in East Rutherford, represented property owner Gabrellian Associates as the exclusive leasing agent.
He said it is the only new construction in the county to offer a mix of retail and medical tenants.
“The design is based on careful study of this market and built to accommodate market needs, with both medical and retail businesses identified as high among those needs. This is the only new building that combines the … uses into an integrated retail medical center.”
One 1,500-square-foot medical office space remains in the 32,500-square-foot, two-story property, which was designed by Dahn & Krieger Architects of Hackensack. About 80 percent of the 18,500-square-foot retail component has been leased.
