A Marlton-based title insurance company is growing through a merger with a Lawrenceville-based firm, it announced Monday.
Title Village Title Agency has become part of the Surety Title Co. LLC organization, which serves clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, effective Sept. 1.
“We are proud to have Title Village become a part of the Surety Title family of companies,” Brian Klaus, Surety’s president, said in a prepared statement. “Princeton and the surrounding region are an important and necessary addition to our footprint. We have found a great partner in Title Village and look forward to welcoming Richard Eland, his staff and the agency’s loyal customers.”
Both companies provide title services for residential and commercial clients.
“Title Village is excited to enter this long-term relationship and focus on the growth opportunities for both of our organizations,” Eland, Title Village’s founder and president, said in a statement. “It comes at a time of rapid industry changes and technological innovations in the overall real estate and title insurance businesses. Pairing our longstanding reputation in the greater Princeton market with the capabilities offered by a larger, high-caliber organization like Surety Title Co. presents us with a unique advantage.”
