PGIM in Newark, an investment management business of Prudential Financial, has named Kathy Sayko its new chief inclusion and diversity officer, it announced recently.
Sayko will succeed Cathy Verhoff, who is retiring at the end of 2018.
Sayko will be responsible for overseeing an inclusion and diversity office, partnering with senior leadership to attract a diverse pool of talent, raising the company as an inclusive workplace and more.
“We are deeply committed to the belief that a diverse employee base leads to diversity of perspective which is critical to our success as an organization,” David Hunt, PGIM CEO, said. “Kathy’s extensive involvement with diversity and inclusion initiatives during her time at Prudential will allow us to continue building our reputation as a career destination for top talent.”
Sayko has been with Prudential since 2011. Before that, she was managing director for the Prudential client management team. Before joining Prudential, she was at JPMorgan Chase for 17 years.
