Jaguar Land Rover North America held an official building dedication ceremony of its new North American headquarters in Mahwah on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by His Royal Highness, The Earl of Wessex, employees and business leaders to unveil the new space.
“We are honored to have His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex join us for the official building dedication ceremony of our all new Jaguar Land Rover North American headquarters,” Joe Eberhardt, CEO and president, Jaguar Land Rover North America. “Our new facility provides our employees a workplace that fosters teamwork, collaboration and efficiency, all which are essential to supporting the rapid growth of Jaguar Land Rover in North America.”
The center, situated on 12 acres, is comprised of 144,000 square feet and represents an investment of more than $30 million by Jaguar Land Rover. There is also a new 30,000-square-foot product research, training and development center, a showroom, 78 conference rooms and meeting spaces, 498 workstations and more than 85 wireless access points.
All catering in the building will be provided by Dartcor Food Services, a New Jersey farm-to-table food service vendor.
The company has about 400 employees based in Mahwah and an additional 40 employees in Canada. It also has 232 retail facilities throughout North America.
