Chubb has named a new head of North American Property Claims, it announced Monday, as the current leader is retiring.
Tim Barziza, who has been with Whitehouse Station-based Chubb for 15 years in a variety of roles, will now be responsible for leading the technical and administrative aspect of the property claim service across North America for personal and commercial claims. He replaces Bill Turnbull, who is retiring at year-end.
Barziza will be based in Dallas and report to Megan Watt, head of North America Claims.
“Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role; his understanding of the claims organization, structure and commitment to the brand makes him an ideal fit for this position,” Watt said in a prepared statement. “I look forward to working with Tim to ensure we continue providing the exceptional level of service and technical excellence that is synonymous with our reputation.”
Turnbull, who has been with Chubb for more than three decades, will work with Barziza in an advisory role through the end of 2018.
