Leasing begins at new Barnegat 67 mixed-use complex

New York-based Extell Development Co. announced that leasing has begun at Barnegat 67, a new residential and retail complex in Barnegat.

The company celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting on Sept. 20.

The four-story complex, which sits on more than 13 acres, has a total of 151 one- and two-bedroom apartments for residents over the age of 55. The homes range from 834 square feet to 1,465 square feet.

“We are pleased to be delivering on a dream that this town has had for over a decade,” Moshe Botnick, AVP of development at Extell Development, said. “With our first retail tenant now open for business, and the remainder of Phase I retail tenants taking possession of their spaces, this will be a vibrant shopping plaza by the end of this year.”

The property is within close access to the Garden State Parkway’s Exit 67.

Barnegat 67 will also offer 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor rooftop amenities including an indoor club and lounge with a bar, games, rooftop cabanas with grilling stations, an outdoor dog run and more. The center will also have a 10,000-square-foot public plaza with an amphitheater and places to dine.

Leasing prices start at $1,350 a month.
