DataOnline, a New Providence-based provider of Industrial Internet of Things solutions, announced Tuesday that Chief Operating Officer Chet Reshamwala has been named CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Reshamwala will succeed founder and current CEO Martin Adams, who will transiting to a business development role.
“As founders, Rob and I are thrilled to be passing the leadership of the business we established nearly 30 years ago to an accomplished, dynamic leader like Chet,” Adams said. “He brings the knowledge, enthusiasm, and vision that will extend our industry leadership and carry DataOnline into our next chapter as a global authority in IIoT.”
Reshamwala has extensive experience in global technology in the automotive, industrial, semiconductor and IIoT industries.
He began his career at Texas Instruments as a design engineer and moved up through various leadership roles there.
“After working alongside Martin and Rob, I’m very excited about the opportunity to become CEO of DataOnline,” Reshamwala said. “This is an outstanding company and I consider it a huge honor to be selected to take the company forward and build on the solid foundation and momentum we have already achieved under Martin’s and Rob’s leadership.”
