Amazon has started hiring for more than 9,000 holiday roles for its fulfillment centers and delivery facilities throughout New Jersey, it announced Wednesday.
Amazon said candidates can walk-in, apply and receive a job offer on-the-spot at a hiring event or apply online at amazon.com/njjobs.
The most-recent hiring event is today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Newark Airport located at 901 Spring St. in Elizabeth.
Also, starting Nov. 1, the recently announced Amazon $15 minimum wage will apply to all hourly employees at New Jersey area facilities.
