Prevalent hires new CFO, VP of operations

Prevalent Inc., a Warren-based manager of third party risk management, announced it has appointed James DeBlasio its chief financial officer and vice president of operations.

DeBlasio was previously at Kiswe Mobile, a technology startup. There, as an investor, he was chief financial officer, head of sales and head of strategy.

“Jim is a terrific leader with a proven track record of helping businesses scale,” Jonathan Dambrot, co-founder and CEO of Prevalent, said. “As we look to drive top line revenue growth in this fast-growing market, Jim’s wealth of executive experience and commitment to delivering results will help Prevalent further advance its leadership position.”

From 2013 to 2016, DeBlasio was the executive vice president of operations at York Telecom Corp. Before that, he was CEO, president and board member at Internap Network Services Corp. He also spent time at Lucent Technologies.
