Brennan leaves Colliers for CBRE’s New York team

Kimberly Brennan, chief operating officer for the New York Tri-State Region for Colliers International, has left the real estate firm for CBRE’s New York leadership team, that firm announced Thursday.

Brennan will be a senior managing director on the New York team that includes Matt Van Buren, CBRE’s president, Northeast Division; as well as Michael Casey, Susan Nagler-Cohen, Travis Yuengst, Elaine Kleinberg, Ruth Levy and Jennifer Czubaja.

“Kim is a great addition to our management team,” Van Buren said in a prepared statement. “She is deeply knowledgeable of the New York real estate market, knows how to drive business, has great people skills and is highly regarded by our senior professionals.”

During her 20 years of experience in the New York area, Brennan also served as market leader for Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey region, where she was the highest-ranking female commercial real estate executive in the Garden State.
