Marquee Security, a Morris Plains-based security solutions provider, announced Tuesday it has acquired the assets of Mexico City-based EAS Systems.
EAS Systems is a company that distributes and implements loss prevention systems.
The acquisition, Marquee said, will strengthen its security services portfolio in Central and South America.
“The acquisition is consistent with our long-term strategy to fuel multiregion know-how with an
in-country presence.” Charlie Lunney, president of Marquee Security, said. “EAS Systems is a natural extension of Marquee’s product line, which already helps companies by offering ideal security infrastructures and optimizes results.”
The acquisition will also add approximately 100 new employees to Marquee.
