York, a provider of specialty claims and risk management services based in Jersey City, announced Thursday it has named Tom Hebson the new general manager of its insurance client business.
Hebson will report to Thomas W. Warsop, chairman and CEO, and is succeeding Rick Stasi, who is retiring.
Hebson, who has 30 years of industry experience, will be responsible for serving the company’s insurance carrier and MGA clients.
“Tom’s significant industry experience and fresh perspective at York is ideal to lead our Insurance client segment and help our clients holistically manage risk,” Warsop said.
Prior to York, Hebson was vice president for large guaranteed cost workers’ compensation and captive services at Safety National Casualty Corp. He also spent time with Midwest Employers and AIG.
“York has extensive partnerships with carriers, brokers, captives, and industry experts along with the ability to partner in risk sharing with eligible clients, and I’m looking forward to building on these partnerships for continued success,” Hebson said.
