Sotheby’s International Realty brand expands in Spain

Madison-based Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC announced Thursday it is expanding its presence in Spain.

The new office, Madrid Sotheby’s International Reality, is located in Madrid and owned by Paul Kempe and Susie Kempe, who also own Mallorca Sotheby’s International Realty, Menorca Sotheby’s International Realty and Ibiza Sotheby’s International Realty.  Juan Luis Sáez, formerly with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami, will serve as director of Madrid Sotheby’s International Realty.

“As a key international business hub and one of Europe’s largest cities, it is important for the Sotheby’s International Realty brand to have a strategic presence in Madrid,” Philip White, CEO and preisdent of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC, said.  “Paul Kempe and his team have built strong, multilingual offices across Spain’s Balearic Islands with great success and we are proud to support their growth into Madrid.”

The new office in Madrid will serve the residential real estate markets in the city as well as in Aravaca, Pozuelo, Las Rozas, Majadahonda, Madrid City, Mirasierra, and Puerta de Hierro.

With this addition, Sotheby’s now has 14 independently owned and operated offices throughout Spain.
