Clifton-based Comodo Cybersecurity, a cybersecurity solutions provider, announced it has appointed Philip Costa as vice president of finance and chief accounting officer.
“Phil’s expertise is a great match for the company as we continue to expand our customer base, operations and global presence,” Melih Abdulhayoglu, chairman of Comodo, said. “Phil brings decades of experience in analyzing financial data and making key business decisions for multibillion-dollar companies. I have great confidence in his financial leadership and governance in support of Comodo Cybersecurity’s continued success.”
“Comodo Cybersecurity’s accomplishments in the cybersecurity marketplace are quite impressive, from building a worldwide installed base to delivering best-in-class cybersecurity solutions to enabling enterprise IT organizations to combat the growing onslaught of malware,” Costa said. “What I found most attractive was that in the crowded field of cybersecurity, Comodo stands out, providing more than just anti-virus utilities and other point products. The Comodo opportunity lies in delivering its Comodo ONE platform to protect enterprises on the corporate LAN, over the web and in the cloud.”
Costa, who has 20 years of experience in finance, previously served as vice president in finance for GAP. He graduated both Rutgers University in New Brunswick and William Paterson University in Wayne.
