NFI names president of Dedicated Transportation

NFI, a supply chain provider based in Cherry Hill, announced it has promoted Bob Knowles to president of Dedicated Transportation.

Knowles will be responsible for overseeing NFI’s asset-based operations and the growth of the company overall.

Prior to his promotion, Knowles was project manager and then director of operations for the Northeast division. He was then promoted to vice president of operations and again to senior vice president of operations in 2014.

“As a key member of our leadership team, Bob has helped grow this core business line,” Sid Brown, CEO of NFI, said. “A dedicated leader, Bob offers extensive experience and understanding of NFI’s supply chain solutions, and has demonstrated an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to ensure exceptional value to our customers through innovation, versatility, and unparalleled service.”

Knowles has been in the logistics industry for 28 years, previously working at FedEx Ground and Menlo Worldwide before joining NFI.
