A groundbreaking took place for the first building of a pair planned for Lakewood, according to developer Cedar Bridge Properties LLC.

The company, led by Lakewood resident Moshe Shvarzblat, is building two medical arts and professional buildings on Cedar Bridge Avenue, across from Airport Road.

The groundbreaking for the first facility, an 82,000-square-foot medical arts building being constructed by RAY Builders of Lakewood, is the culmination of four years of planning, the developer said.

“Moshe expects the project to significantly improve the lives of thousands of families over the years by attracting prestigious and expert specialists in the medical arts to the region,” Cedar Bridge’s Minna Shvarzblat said in a prepared statement.
