Quest Diagnostics has completed its previously announced acquisition of the U.S. laboratory services business of England-based Oxford Immunotec Global PLC, the two companies announced Tuesday.
Under terms of the deal, Secaucus-based Quest has purchased the business from Oxford, including the T-SPOT TB tuberculosis and Accutix tick disease testing services provided at labs in Tennessee and Massachusetts.
Quest said it plans to continue to offer QuantFERON TB testing services, which will provide physicians a choice in blood-based TB testing.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
