NAI Hanson’s negotiates sale of commercial, residential buildings in Bloomingdale

NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm, announced Thursday the sale of a two buildings in Bloomingdale.

The assets comprise a 2,200-square-foot commercial building at 217 Hamburg Turnpike and a 1,200-square-foot two-family home at 219 Hamburg Turnpike.

LJ Koch of NAI Hanson represented the seller, Waldo LLC, in the deal.

The new owner, NAI Hanson said, plans to renovate the property at 217 Hamburg, which was previously home to Walker’s Deli, and reopen the space as a high-end cafe. The owners also plan to make improvements to lease out the 219 Hamburg two-family home.

“Although this was a unique property, we were able to tailor a marketing strategy for the two buildings that attracted a buyer searching for an ideal investment opportunity,” Koch said. “Deals like this highlight how we utilize our market knowledge and experience in northern New Jersey to ensure that our clients are able to receive top dollar for their properties in a competitive marketplace.”

Financial terms were not disclosed.
