Steel Works in Harrison wins 3 NJAA awards

Steel Works, a luxury housing development in Harrison, has received three awards from the New Jersey Apartment Association, according to Advance Realty and DeBartolo Development.

NJAA said Steel Works received its Curb Appeal, Operational Excellence and Corporate and Property Website awards. The awards were announced during the association’s annual Garden State Awards gala on Nov. 8.

“Since we first opened the doors at Steel Works last year, we knew it was the kind of unique and exceptional project that could attract renters from across the New York Metropolitan Area,” Daniel Cocoziello, vice president of development, Advance Realty, said. “We have seen tremendous interest in the building – leasing all of our 286 homes within just a few months – and these awards are another testament to the incredible appeal of both Steelworks and the growing Riverbend District.”

Steel Works residences, which are equipped with Amazon Echo Dot, offer amenities including a chef’s kitchen, designer cabinetry, quartz countertops, open shelving, built-in wine chillers, an audio enabled sound system, high ceilings, walk-in closets and more.

“New Jersey has an incredibly competitive residential market, which makes the NJAA’s recognition of Steel Works all the more special,” Steve Shaw, senior vice president of development at DeBartolo Development, said. “We are extremely proud of every member of our team for working hard to separate this building from the competition, and look forward to future successes as we continue bringing our vision for the Riverbend District to life.”
