A Clifton-based information technology and cybersecurity services company has acquired a Maryland-based managed service provider, it announced Wednesday.
NuMSP said in a news release that its fifth acquisition, Swift Systems, will enable it to enter the Eastern Seaboard small and midsize business IT services market.
“I am glad that Swift Systems is now a part of NuMSP, and will become part of our nationwide company delivering IT services to the SMB market,” NuMSP CEO Jim Griffith said in a prepared statement. “The company that the leadership team … built has a highly regarded service model, which will help in our expansion around Frederick (Maryland), Baltimore and Washington, D.C.”
The transaction closed Tuesday.
