Sewell-based Gold Medal Group, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries LLC, announced Monday it has acquired Apple Valley Waste Services Inc. on Monday.
Apply Valley is a solid waste company that offers collection, processing, disposal and recycling services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
This deal is Kinderhook’s 36th investment in the environmental services sector, it said.

Financing for the deal was provided by Comerica Bank, M&T Bank, Huntington National Bank and Citizens Bank. Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Potters & Della Pietra LLP provided legal counsel to Kinderhook.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
