The Hainesport Transportation Group announced it has named John Thomas president of Hainesport-based R&B Debris, one of its subsidiaries which provides transportation services for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
In this role, Thomas will be responsible for client and partner relationships, continuing efforts to grow R&B Debris through new partnerships, and planning long-term strategy ideas.
“John has decades of experience in the transportation industry, with significant positions in fleet management,” Darryl Caplan, managing partner of The Hainesport Transportation Group, said. “Bringing his expertise to R&B Debris will allow the company to grow under his leadership.”
Thomas joined R&B Debris in 2016 as a transportation and disposal specials. Before that, he worked for Statewide Hi-Way Safety as a fleet maintenance manager, for Universal Express as fleet manager and at M.L. Ruberton Construction as an operations manager.
“I’m looking forward to taking R&B Debris to the next level, in terms of revenue and in services we can provide as well as in finding opportunities for innovative partnerships,” Thomas said. “I have spent my entire professional career to this industry and as the business evolves with the times, it’s both challenging and exciting to stay ahead of the changes.”
