Chamber of Commerce names N.J. city in its ‘Best Cities for Business’ list

The Chamber of Commerce announced the Best Cities for Business in the USA, and one New Jersey city made the cut.

Newark was ranked No. 29 out of 54 overall cities.

The chamber compiled economic, labor and educational statistics to create the rankings. The rankings are meant to be used for small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to find the optimal American city to start their business, the chamber said.

  3. Chicago, Illinois;
  4. Houston, Texas;
  5. San Jose, California;
  6. Seattle, Washington;
  7. Phoenix, Arizona;
  8. San Francisco, California;
  9. San Diego, California;
  10. Dallas, Texas.
