The Columbus Organization acquires support coordination assets of N.J.-based PCS

The Columbus Organization announced it has acquired the support coordination assets of Progressive Comprehensive Services, based in Cedar Knolls.

The Columbus Organization is a Wayne, Pennsylvania-based provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is its first acquisition in New Jersey, it said. It currently services more than 10,000 individuals and their families in six states.

“We are very pleased to welcome PCS’ support coordination services and talented support coordinators into The Columbus Organization.  We strongly believe PCS approach, vision, and most importantly, their dedication to their consumers is consistent with those of The Columbus Organization.  This alignment will allow us to quickly integrate our support coordination services, and to reach a greater number of individuals and families in need of our services,” Jeff Klimaski, president of The Columbus Organization, said.
