Prism Capital Partners announced Thursday the next phase of construction at The Residences at Edison Lofts in West Orange.
The newest phase includes additional apartment layouts and amenities at the property located on Main Street. The property is the former Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center.
“It’s an exciting time at Edison Village,” Edwin Cohen, principal partner at Prism, said. “With new residents moving in every week, the community is truly coming to life. We are pleased to bring this next wave of homes to market – signaling another important milestone in this benchmark redevelopment.”
The building currently houses 300 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, including 20 penthouse duplex homes, which will be completed in early 2019. The units feature 14- to 16-foot ceilings, 10-foot replica replacement windows, designer kitchens and luxury bathrooms, Prism said. Prices start at $1,795 per month.
The newly completed project includes the Edison Lofts’ theater and media screening room, a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, a 12,000-square-foot rooftop lounge, heated indoor pool, sauna, bike storage, private dining room, business center, a dog-washing station and concierge service.
Edison Village’s Phase I included the development of 18,400 square feet of retail, a 630-space parking structure and The Mews at Edison Lofts.
