Cushman & Wakefield named leasing agent for 1.43M sq.ft. ex-Toys R Us warehouse in Mount Olive

Cushman & Wakefield has been named the exclusive leasing agent for one of the largest warehouse spaces in the state, formerly a distribution center for Toys R Us, it announced Wednesday.

The distribution and warehouse center, located at 703 Bartley-Chester Road in Mount Olive, sits on a 230-acre site and is comprised of 1.43 million square feet. It is currently supported by 115,000 pallet positions with 49-foot cubic storage capacity, more than 500 trailer positions and multimillion-dollar material handling equipment investments, Cushman & Wakefield said.

Jason Goldman, Charles Fern, Andrew Siemsen and Jason Barton of the firm’s Iselin office have been named the leasing agents for the space.

The center is within close access to Interstates 80, 287 and 78, and the Ports of Newark and Elizabeth.

The property is owned by a partnership between Square Mile Capital Management LLC and the Saadia Group.
