Checkpoint opens Customer Experience Center as it marks 50 years in business

Checkpoint Systems, a $675 million division of CCL Industries, a $4.8 billion global specialty label and packaging solutions company, is celebrating 50 years in business by opening the first-of-its-kind Customer Experience Center at its North American headquarters in Thorofare.

The vertically integrated solutions provider optimizes retail operations and efficiencies with real-time intuitive data delivered throughout the supply chain via software, hardware, labels, tags and connected cloud-based solutions, resulting in improved profitability and decreased theft in what often is a tumultuous time for brick-and-mortar retail stores.

“Checkpoint Systems is transforming retail with an array of ingenious connected store solutions that improve product availability, thus improving financial performance and enhancing the consumer experience,” John Dargan, president of Checkpoint Systems, said.

The Customer Experience Center in Thorofare will feature a multistore-format retail technology laboratory with more than 40 connected store technologies, allowing Checkpoint engineers and retailers to interact with and test connected store solutions to gain valuable insights prior to storewide deployment.

Integrated with Checkpoint’s HALO Internet of Things software platform, the Customer Experience Center is designed to showcase the true capabilities of an ecosystem of hardware and software solutions that ensure inventory investment and maximum consumer experience.

Interested customers, retail professionals, analysts, professional groups and universities can visit the Customer Experience Center to see the future of connected retail stores, as well as test their new products and inventory management protocols in a retail environment that is representative of their own specific store environment, by registering here.
