A Florida-based early childhood education chain is planning its first location in New Jersey, as real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson announced it has signed a lease for a space in Mahwah.
Emersion Schools LLC, which is headquartered in Boca Raton and has three sites in the Sunshine State, has leased 9,831 square feet at 25 Edison Road, a former day care center. NAI Hanson’s John J. Schilp represented both the tenant and the landlord, Ronald Striegel & 325 E. 90th St. LLC, in the transaction.
“Although a former child care center, we recognized that a well-located, quality product like 25 Edison Road could lend itself to a variety of uses and would be a perfect location for Emersion Schools LLC,” Schilp said in a prepared statement. “Leveraging our experience in the Bergen County office market, we were able to negotiate a mutually beneficial deal on behalf of both landlord and lessee.”
The property offers office space and extensive parking, NAI Hanson said, and is in move-in condition.
