Cabinet-maker buys Piscataway building for manufacturing, distribution ops, NAI Hanson says

NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm with offices in Parsippany and Teterboro, announced Monday it has negotiated the sale of an industrial building in Piscataway to a cabinet manufacturer.

The 41,700-square-foot industrial building located at 727 South Ave. was sold by Deals for Less LLC to Cavalli Cabinets LLC.

NAI Hanson’s Eric Demmers and Russel Verducci represented the buyer in the deal.

The property is within close access to Route 287 and the New Jersey Turnpike. It offers 2,500 square feet of office space, parking, 14-foot ceilings, five loading platforms and one drive-in.

Cavalli said it plans to use the property for kitchen cabinet manufacturing, warehouse and distribution.

“Deals like 727 South Avenue continue to reaffirm that the I-287 corridor is gaining significant interest from companies searching for favorable distribution opportunities amid a consistently competitive industrial market,” Demmers said. “Our significant industrial asset class experience allowed us to work closely with Cavalli Cabinets to secure a suitable property that will serve as a long-term home for their business and position them well for growth.”
