New Providence-based Chemetall, a BASF brand operating in its Coatings division, announced Tuesday it has agreed to acquire the automotive paint detackification business of Polymer Ventures Inc., including all of its shares of Galaxy Chemical Corp.
The deal will streamline the combined supply chain, create new products through global R&D resources and enhance manufacturing and processing capabilities.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
