Hudson Group wins pact for IND airport retail

Hudson Group, the East Rutherford-based travel retail company, has won a 10-year contract at Indianapolis International Airport under IND’s concessions refresh program, it announced this week.

Hudson will provide the airport with national brands and distinctive retail concepts including FAO Schwarz, Hudson, Ink, Tech on the Go, Pitstop by Hudson and Tumi — based in Edison — among others.

“Hudson Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our passengers, and with the Indianapolis International Airport’s recent top honors as best airport in North America, we knew that only the most unique and distinguished concepts would make the cut,” CEO Roger Fordyce said in a prepared statement. “We are pleased to partner with the Indianapolis Airport Authority to offer our customers a dynamic mix of excitement and world-class customer service, while delivering an authentic sense of place that is truly Indiana.”

The contract includes nine stores and nearly 9,000 square feet of space, serving nearly 9 million people that flow through the airport annually.
