Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., a drugmaker that has its U.S. headquarters in Princeton, has named a new CEO for North American generics, it announced Friday.
Marc Kikuchi will be based out of Princeton, where he will oversee the business unit as part of the India-based company’s senior leadership team.
“Dr. Reddy’s is a great company with a wide portfolio and remarkable heritage,” Kikuchi said in a prepared statement. “I am excited to join Dr. Reddy’s and look forward to leveraging my past experiences to steer the company’s new growth areas.”
Kikuchi has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently serving as CEO for the Americas at Zydus Pharmaceuticals Inc. He has also worked in leadership roles at AmerisourceBergen Corp., Johnson & Johnson and others.
He has a bachelor’s degree from California-Berkeley and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
